There is a vault stored here. This site saved it before the move, and the app cannot reach it — browsers keep storage separate per address, which is the same rule that stops any other site reading it.

Moving it opens the app in a new tab and hands the encrypted file across. It stays encrypted the whole way: your passphrase is not involved and does not travel, so you will unlock it there exactly as you do here.

Move my vault to the app or just open the app

Nothing here is deleted by this. If it goes wrong the vault is still on this page, and you can try again.

No vault is stored in this browser under this address, so there is nothing to carry over.

Open the app

Sent. The app should be open in a new tab with your vault in it.

Still nothing deleted here. Once you have unlocked it at the new address and are satisfied it is all there, you can clear this site’s data from your browser settings.

The new tab did not open, which is usually a popup blocker. Allow popups here and try again — the transfer needs a window to hand the vault to.
